White Circle Productions is looking to recruit a Post-Production Apprentice to support our award winning digital media team. Working with Final Cut Pro, you will be supporting all aspects of post-production on a range of shorts, feature films, documentaries and corporate videos.

White Circle Productions is based in Bournemouth Town Centre, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the media, full of ideas and talent , keen to learn and committed to helping grow the organisation.

Our clients include leading international brands and creative agencies who expect content to be produced quickly and to high standards. We also supply post-production facilities to partners and associated business which provides a unique opportunity to work broadly across different productions in a fast paced cutting edge business.

The ideal apprentice will have had some of the following knowledge or experiences:

Familiarity of the latest digital technologies
Some experience creating their own short films or animations
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Premier or Avid
Experience working with creative software maybe shown through your own work
An understanding of online video shown through your work on a social network

You will be working within a Mac environment primarily with Apple and Adobe software so good knowledge or experience using Macs is essential.

Key Tasks

Log and digitise rushes and other digital video material
Assist post production editors
Maintain housekeeping of edit suites, rushes, and ensure drives are stored and logs updated
Support post production work flow and schedule
Basic video editing of content
Encoding video and audio to web files or DVD
Creating, manipulating and formatting images and graphics
